Summer Moreton has been selected as the 2022-2023 Disney Elementary Support Employee of the Year!
Summer has worked at Disney since 2012, first as a teacher's assistant and now as the principal's secretary.
"I love the friendships I have gained through the last ten years here at Disney. I love seeing the students grow and change. I enjoyed getting to be with my youngest daughter throughout her elementary years at Disney as well," said Summer.
Summer's daughter is now a sophomore at Edison Preparatory. She has three other daughters who are Tulsa Public Schools graduates. She said she loved being a stay at home mom while they were young, but always wanted to return to working in education.
"Disney is truly a family! We take care of each other and our students. I wouldn't want to work at any other school!"
